9 Wedding Favors Your Guests Will ACTUALLY Like

In my opinion, wedding favors are kind of meant to be pointless and pretty. It’s like a trinket to keep forever, it doesn’t need to be functional. BUT, not everyone is that sentimental so, here are some favor ideas that people will actually like, use, or at least want to put on display.

  1. Key Bottle Opener

“Thank you for being a key part of our lives” is such a cute, short and not super cheesy phrase that goes perfectly with these little keys. I don’t know about you but I would put this straight on my key ring, it’s vintage looking and an easy access bottle opener! Amazon sells 100 pcs for only $28 so it’s a super affordable option that doesn’t look cheap at all.

  1. Tiktac Boxes

This is super cute, I love this idea because everyone likes mints and people are more likely to take this one. You can just buy a sticker and put it right on top of the TikTac label to save time. Shop a similar sticker on Amazon or try Etsy for other cute ones.

  1. Honey Jars

These would be great for a casual spring wedding or a bridal shower. They are literally so cute with the honey stick, little bag, and bee charm! You can fill it with whatever honey you like whether it’s just a cheap one or a nice local honey for your guests.

  1. Flower Seed Packets!

This is such a cute idea to encourage people to get outside and contribute to the environment so hopefully some people will actually use it – LOL. The packaging is so cute and “let love bloom” is not too tacky!

  1. Personalized Whiskey/Cocktail Glasses

This is a more bougie gift idea because it will take a little bit more effort and is a little bit pricier but I think it’s such a personalized touch for everyone to have their glass with their initial, name, or to save time and effort just a standardized phrase already at their seat when they sit for dinner. Everyone will be taking that home for sure, and hopefully using it for years to come! Bonus for everyone being able to tell their drinks apart!

  1. Personalized Matchboxes

I’ve seen this a lot at recent weddings and it is still such a good idea, it definitely hasn’t run its course yet. First of all it’s small and simple, it’s classy, and it’s functional. Everyone uses matches for something!

  1. Scratch Tickets!

I love this idea because everyone will participate and likely people will drop any winner in your card box! You can buy cute envelopes and stickers like this one on Amazon but Etsy also has some cute ones.

  1. Sweets and Treats

Honestly, the consensus is that people want something consumable that won’t clutter up their house. So treats are the way to go, bonus points for local. Here are some of my favorite ideas that I’ve seen.

  • Different flavored popcorn
  • Homemade cookies from a bakery
  • Chocolate truffles
  1. Candy Bar

Okay, I saw this idea somewhere and I thought it was so adorable. A couple set up a table full of candy, this could be as easy or complex as you wanted it to be. You could buy a few clear bowls and dumb some M&Ms and other candies with cute spoons or you could get some beautiful truffles or customize your M&Ms with your wedding colors etc… And then they got these cute little acrylic boxes that people could fill up! That way everyone can pick and choose exactly what they want to take home.

  1. Nothing!

Favors are kind of falling out of style these days honestly. With the price of weddings, it’s totally understandable to skip out on a favor that people might not even take home. Many people have said that the open bar was their favor – so real. And your guests will likely get plenty of pictures that will last for a lifetime! All in all, don’t feel bad for breaking tradition on this one but, if you still want to do favors, these ideas are pretty cute. Happy planning!
